Crew Management

The crew being the most important factor in ship management, the quality of the seafarers onboard a vessel defines the path to success.

As crew managers we undertake the full scope of management operations required by our ship-owner clients, ensuring that each vessel we are responsible for is manned with qualified and well-trained officers and ratings.

We perform all crew-related functions including recruitment and selection, long-term and pool arrangements, travel arrangements, etc.

Crew Sourcing

With office in Chennai and vast resource of seafarers, we provide national coverage, allowing us to fill seafaring requirements efficiently and quickly across India. The main advantage of this Contract crewing is that the management of the crew remains with the owner/ operator

Other services

• Documentation for joining crew member - Thus avoiding unnecessary travel costs to company.
• Visa Application - We assist in documenting and applying for Visa of the candidates for Consulates and embassies available in Chennai.
• Medicals - With a network of DG and Flag approved doctors, the pre-joining medicals as per company and flag requirements can be completed locally.

Shore Placements

The vast database of seafarers and our regular contacts with them has helped us identify candidates who are keen to settle in to shore job. Given their marine experience, they would fit hand in glove to the requirements of the shore based maritime industry. Candidates who have prior shore based experienced in all departments are available in our database.

Our existing staffs have undertaken Port captaincy and we also provide workforce to carry out various port captaincy jobs and attend vessels at ports in India.

Ship Chandling

The ship chandlers business was central to the existence and the social and political dynamics of ports and their waterfront areas.

Today's chandlers deal more in goods typical for fuel-powered commercial ships, such as oil tankers, container ships, bulk carriers. They supply the crew's food, ships maintenance supplies, cleaning compounds, paint, rope, etc. The advantage of a ship's crew using a chandler is that they do not have to find stores in the town they have landed in, nor hold that local currency - assuming they are let out of the dock compound by the immigration authorities. Typically, the ship owner has a line of credit with the chandler and is billed for anything delivered to the crew of his ship. The chandler is supplied by merchants local to his location.

Ship broking and Chartering is an important part of the business and has been a rapidly developing department in the company. Being active ship agents for years we have considerably extended the range of services offered to ship owners.

We enjoy strong relationship with Indian shippers & consignees, which ensures cargoes for our principals directly on guided terms & conditions.
